LumiVow Privacy Policy

Updated October 13, 2026. This policy covers the native iOS app. Yifan Xiong is the developer; Chengdu Nash E-Commerce Co., Ltd. provides operational and user support. The App Store listing and Apple invoice identify the seller and payment party. The web previews have a separate notice.

On-device information

No account is required, and the app includes no advertising, cross-app tracking or third-party analytics SDKs. The developer does not collect journals through an app backend, sell journal data or profile users. Names, intentions, journal entries, reflection notes, World Fragments, voice capsules, preferences and progress stay on your device. The app and widget share a limited snapshot through the on-device App Group container.

Microphone and speech recognition

Permissions are requested only when you choose voice input or recording. Apple system speech recognition may process audio and transcripts online under your device settings and Apple's policies; the developer does not receive this voice input. You may decline access and type instead. Ten-second voice capsules are stored locally and are not transcribed, uploaded or analyzed by LumiVow. You can replace or delete them and manage permissions in iOS Settings.

Prerecorded AI narration

Evening and sensory guidance include bundled AI-generated recordings for offline playback. Names, journals and custom scenes are not sent to a developer narration server. Custom scenes use disclosed open-ended recordings rather than a verbatim reading of private text. Any optional system narration follows its on-screen description.

In-app purchases

Optional support purchases are consumable In-App Purchases processed by Apple. The app stores verified transaction identifiers, tiers and display records locally. Apple may provide the developer with sales, settlement or necessary transaction information; the developer does not directly receive full payment-card information. Tips unlock no core features and are neither subscriptions nor charitable fundraising. Apple's purchase and refund policies apply.

Optional sharing

Versions with personalized luck-card sharing send only the card content you choose to share as a link or image, not your other journal entries. Anyone with the link can read and forward it. This is not encrypted private messaging, and self-entered signatures are not verified. The feature is not part of the released 1.1.0 (9) build.

Retention and deletion

Records remain until you delete or clear the relevant data. Starting a new intention retains a local recovery snapshot; resetting is not permanent erasure of all copies. Voice capsules can be deleted separately. Deleting the app differs from offloading it while retaining data. Manage system backups, App Group and widget-related storage through iOS device and backup settings as appropriate. There is no developer cloud account, and we cannot restore lost local records.

Hosting and third-party services

Website hosting and network providers may process IP address, browser information and request time to deliver pages, maintain security and troubleshoot problems. Apple's speech, store and backup services have their own policies. Any future developer cloud synchronization, advertising or analytics will be described before activation, with choices where required.
